THE STORY

TACKLING MYOPIA

Gen Z averages around 9 hours a day of screen time per day, mainly scrolling on social media. This creates a plethora of issues, including Myopia. This condition causes people to be able to see close objects clearly, but objects farther away appear blurred. This can lead to more issues in the future, such as losing their vision altogether.

INTRODUCING IRIS

The 'Iris' app employs API technology to trigger notifications when users are active on social media platforms, delivering candid reminders to halt scrolling. By tapping into Gen Z's penchant for humour and self-awareness, 'Iris' seamlessly integrates direct messaging into their daily routines, effectively curbing screen time and mitigating the risk of myopia.
